The CAT5 VGA Data Transmitter (VDT) is a one to one computer video and RS-232 signal extender. Use it to extend high resolution video images and RS-232 signals (T, R) over 110m/360ft via Shielded CAT5 cable. Users can now broadcast their video image or control a projector or any other RS-232 device at a remote location. The VDT works using bi-directional RS-232 for transmit/receive signals. It also features thin CAT5 cabling which is extremely easy to install. The system is comprised of two units: one local and one remote. Both are made with sturdy metal casing. The local unit comes with built-in cabling and individual power supplies power each of the units. Broadcast the source screen at high video resolution – 1600x1200 @ 75Hz. The system also allows installing an additional monitor at the local unit. The VDT is available as a complete package including both local and remote units, two power supplies and quick user guide.
